Type SGAPPLICATIONThe SG series of TURBO-Mixer can be used both in open or closed pressureless containers and with a mixer shaft seal in pressure or vaccum containers. They are particularly suitable for gentle or low-speed mixing at about 40-110 r.p.m., depending on the process. The mixer shaft seal is selected to suit the operational requirements.
DRIVERTURBO-Mixers are available with surface-cooled three-phase motors conforming to IEC-standards or with pole-changing or explosion proof motors conforming to ATEX code 94/9/EG ignite protection e(T3) or d(T4). GEARBOXThe initial oil fill for the helical gearbox with hollow shaft and mounting position H5 will last for approximately 10.000 operating hours. MIXER SHAFTThe material of the mixer shaft is selected ac¬cording to the operation to be performed, for example St 37-2, 1.4571 (V4A), coated with hard and soft rubber or any other materials. The mixer shaft is mounted in the gear hollow shaft by means of bolting. Locking surfaces guarantee a precise fit. MIXING IMPELLERThe TURBO-Mixers SG series is fitted as standard
with pitch blade mixing impellers which are made of the same
material as the mixer shaft. TURBO-Mixer offers you an extensive range of
