Type DF

APPLICATION

The TURBO-Mixer series Typee DF is best used in water treatment and in the mixing of low-viscosity liquids.
This series is not suitable for flow-through systems. The distance from the bottom of the container to the mixing impeller should not be more or less than 1 - 1,5 times the diameter of the mixing blade. The main features of the DF series are its easy operation, its lightness in weight and its robustness in daily use. When used in combination with clamps, tripods or wall-suspensions this series can be utilized in a fixed position.

DRIVER

All makes of motors can be used with this series of TURBO-mixers in accordance to the wishes of the customer. They are fitted with IEC-three-phase motors of safety-group Typee IP 55, insulation class F, 230/400 volt, 50 Hz, model V1. The motor bearings are permanently greased with a lithium-based lubricant. We can also supply 2-pole-changing motors and explosion proof motors conforming to ATEX code 94/9/EG ignite protection e(T3) or d(T4).

MIXER SHAFT

 The mixer shaft is connected to the motor by means of a sleeve coupling. The material of mixer shaft will be chosen in accordance with the operational requirements. The shaft is produced in material number 1.4571 (V4A), but can also be supplied PVDF-coated on special request.

MIXING IMPELLER

The TURBO-Mixer series DF is fitted as standard with propeller driven mixing impellers. The used materials are 1.4571 (V4A), PP and PVDF. The impeller is fastened to the shaft by means of a thread. The mixing impeller can be replaced without difficulty. The choice of impeller is based on the Typee of mixing-medium.
