Support
GENERAL
These supports enable the below mentioned
TURBO-Mixers to be used irrespective of type and size of container.
The smallest support of type STA1 is a laboratory support for use
one tables – maximum mixer weight 18 kg. STA2 can be supplied both
as a stationary model and also in movable form. In the movable
version the support foot can be equipped with a small run-in height,
for palettes for example. The weight of the stirrer mechanism is
limited to a maximum of 65 kg.
The supports of the type STA3 can be supplied as stationary, movable
and hinged models with the same foot design as STA2 – suitable for
weights up to a maximum of 150 kg.
The TURBO-Mixer supports STA4 are for heavy stirrers and can only be
supplied in the stationary version for up to 400 kg.
CONSTRUCTION
STA1, a laboratory and table-top support,
consists of an H-food powder-coated RAL 3000, a cylindrical column
and a suitable mount for the laboratory stirrer, optionally with a
gas spring to facilitate lifting. In the stationary version, STA 2
and STA3 come with a base plate into which a square stainless-steel
column is fitted. Ball journalled stirrer mounts at the running
columns guarantee friction-free up and down movement of the attached
stirrer mechanisms. The roller block is secured by means of the
overcentre pin.
In the movable version STA2 f and STA3 f, the support foot comprises
a closed frame construction with two base rollers and two steering
rollers, together with a central linkage, which facilitate easy
travel, steering and fixation. The base width is matched to the
respective container size.
STA4 is equipped with one or two stainless steel columns, depending
on the load and is only available in a stationary version.
LIFTING DEVICE
We offer the following lifting aids:
Balance weight mounted in the column
Cable winch with return stop
Electrical spindle drive
Pneumatic lifting cylinder
SWITCHING SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS
With electrical lifting equipment, the end switches of the safety
system for limiting the stroke are included in the price. To make
installation simple, we recommend that you order the complete
legally prescribed control with the system.ACCIDENT
PREVENTION REGULATIONS
According to accident prevention rules, lifting equipment with
attached stirrers can only be used when compulsory locking ensures
the container is in place and the mixing vanes are positioned in the
containers.
Moreover, a safety device has to exist preventing uncontrolled
lowering of the load. In the case of supports in explosion-protected
environments, care is to be taken with the appropriate selection of
materials and adequate earthing.
