AGITATOR FOR DRUMS TYPE DFF
The TURBO-Mixer agitators of type DFF are suitable as high-speed mixers for all low-viscosity mixing materials. The drum attachment allows the agitator to be used on 200l drums with a 2′′ bunghole in the vessel lid. The carrying handles ensure easy and safe handling.
The agitators must not be used in through-flow operation.

DRIVE, BEARING, SEAL
The connection to the motor is designed as a sleeve coupling. Depending on the application, the agitator is equipped with:
- a sealing flange or
- of a sealing lantern (V-ring, shaft seal, mechanical seal, stuffing box, etc.).
For use in hazardous areas, TURBO-Mixer offers a combination with a gap seal / mechanical seal.
MIXER SHAFT AND MIXER BLADE
The mixer shaft is made of solid material. The stainless steel shaft can be additionally machined – depending on the application environment:
- Surface treatment such as ground, polished, nitrided, chrome plated, nickel plated….
The wavelength depends on the operating conditions. Additional storage may be necessary.
The mixing paddle is designed as a hinged paddle and is usually made of the same material as the shaft. The connection of the mixing paddle to the shaft is designed as a thread, with force screws or welded.
TURBO-Mixer will advise you on mixing blade selection and sizing for the desired application.
FASTENING OF THE AGITATOR
The agitator can be inserted directly through the bunghole into the barrel and attached to the barrel thanks to the folding blades.
The drum mounting is also available from TURBO-Mixer designed according to customer specifications.
